Data Creation QA Reviewer (Swahili)
As a Swahili Data Creation QA Reviewer, you will evaluate multilingual data used to train and test AI systems. You will assess accuracy, linguistic quality, and cultural relevance of short audio Swahili recordings.
Role Overview
SparkFusion Innovations partners with global companies to build multilingual AI products that work for real users globally. As a Data Creation QA Reviewer, you will perform human evaluation and quality control on language data used for training and testing AI models. Work is conducted entirely online, using simple tools such as spreadsheets (advanced analysis is not required) and a web-based QA platform. Training and task instructions are provided. The role is project-based and offers flexible hours, making it suitable for individuals seeking remote, part-time, or supplemental work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate multilingual audio and text data for quality and compliance with guidelines.
- Assess translations, transcriptions, and annotations for accuracy, style, and cultural relevance.
- Provide clear written feedback and tagging on errors, issues, and edge cases.
- Follow project-specific instructions while protecting participant privacy and data security.
- Collaborate with project managers and linguists to clarify instructions and improve guidelines.
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Swahili, plus strong English skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Comfort working with digital tools, spreadsheets, and online platforms.
- Reliable internet connection suitable for remote work and audio review.
- Personal laptop, headset, and stable wired internet.
- Preferred: Previous experience with transcription, translation, annotation, or AI data projects.
- Preferred: Have experience with audio data labeling, particularly in the AI space.
